Went with my dad to his Dr's appointment in the am, that was interesting. Went back to ma and pa's to download Sudoku puzzles yet again. It's a mystery how he is deleting them. :-) Well not really, old people and computers. I say that jokingly, cause I am also referring to myself!
Got home and made some quick lunch, took Maia out yet again, cause my hubby is in Orlando for the week for the McDonald's convention. The line-up there is amazing! Everyone is obviously still spending lots of $$ on fast food. Cause they had Enrique Iglesias open the convention on Monday. Morgan Freeman speaking on Tuesday. They are closing Universal Studios for them tonight. And tomorrow's line up is Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson and Seal, jeezzzzz!!
The big event of the evening was going to listen to my good friend Gisele Harrison do a presentation at the Women's Economic Forum. It is a networking group for women. She was fantastic!! Anyway afterwards, I went to use the restroom and put the pamphlet on the back of the toilet with my car keys. What was I thinking?? Yes you guessed it, I flushed, picked up the pamphlet and sploosh,down the went! I stuck my hand in as quickly as possible but to no avail. They were gone. And now I had toilet water up my black blazer....nice! So no ride home either. I had to tell the owner of course and he was not pleased with me. But as stupid as I felt, I thought it better to tell him because he might have issues. I have a lot of keys on my key chain. He immediately put a "out of order" sign on the door and said he was going to have to call a plumber in the morning. Oh boy I thought, that was an expensive dinner for me. I hope I made some good contacts!
One of the ladies was still outside and she so nicely gave me a ride home. And Sean's boyfriend Tim was over and Sean volunteered to go and pick up my car when he left..
She did the coolest thing tonight. She made ice cream in a baggie! It was really cool, she found it on Pinterest. We did not think it was going to work but it did and it tasted great! It only took 5 minutes to make too.
